Spring Fling Week – March 24 – 29, 2025

Dress-Up Day Themes

Students should use Spirit Day guidelines in determining what is acceptable. Students may wear JCA Spirit Wear this week.

The following is not acceptable any day: sandals, backless shoes, self designed logos, any attire referring to drugs, alcohol, sexual references, clothing suggesting political slogans, or tobacco, exposed, bare skin, low cut or bare midriff, no face paint or specialty makeup, ripped clothing, yoga pants, leggings, clothes of an inappropriate length or tightness, masks, weapons, and/or props. If you are not sure if your outfit meets the guidelines send a picture or bring it to the dean’s office BEFORE the designated spirit dress day. Infractions will merit a detention.

Monday, March 24 – Disney Day 

Acceptable attire: T-shirts and costumes that represent any Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and/or Star Wars character. Mickey Mouse ears and accessories are acceptable provided they meet the handbook guidelines. 

Tuesday, March 25 – Neon Day

Acceptable attire: Neon tops, bottoms, accessories that meet the dress code. 

Wednesday, March 26 – March Madness College Day

Acceptable attire: College t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and jerseys. If your jersey is oversized or sleeveless, please wear a shirt underneath. No hats, leggings, pajama pants, or anything that does not meet the dress code guidelines. 

Thursday, March 27 – Escape to the Tropics Day

Acceptable attire: Hawaiian shirts, cargo shorts, boat shoes, fanny packs, lifeguard accessories, sun hats, gym shoes, and tie dye tops or bottoms. Sandals or backless shoes are not allowed. 

Friday, March 28 – Class Color Day 

Acceptable attire: Wear clothes in your designated class color. Freshmen wear blue, sophomores wear yellow, juniors wear green, seniors wear pink, and faculty in purple. 

Saturday, March 29 – Spring Mixer for Underclassmen – Escape to the Tropics

6:00 – 8:30 p.m. – The event will include pizza, games, music, and fun. The dress is Hawaiian themed.
